It’s not fair to blame the messenger for delivering bad news. But it is fair to blame the messenger for delivering nothing more than bad news, especially when there is plenty of good news.

The democrat party operatives in the elite media are corrupt.  The elections in Iraq and Egypt are a case in point.  The media are not contriving the news they report.  There are, after all, car bombings and kidnappings and killings in Egypt and Iraq.  However, the media have clearly chosen not to report good news about the Iraqi democrats who are successfully struggling to build a free Iraqi society.  For over a decade, the media have chosen not to report good news about the 'purple finger' strategy working or the heroic efforts of the Iraqi democrats who were in the vanguard of the democratic revolution in the Arabic speaking world.  The democrat media hate the Iraqi democrats and want to see the Iraqi democrats fail.  Everyone in the Arab speaking world remembers the pictures of the brave Iraqi democrats who risked their lives voting in 2004, 2005 and 2006 in the first free and fair elections in Iraqi and Arab history.  Eight years ago, those wonderful images of the Iraqi democrats proudly showing off their 'purple fingers' had a powerful impact on all Egyptians, Tunisians and Libyans.  This is an historical fact which the corrupt, democrat party operatives in the elite media choose to ignore. --- http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/23/world/middleeast/on-eve-of-historic-egyptian-vote-crime-wave-is-the-main-topic.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all
