Coal-to-jet-fuel plant at Malmstrom Air Base opposed and crushed by the far-Left.  The Observer Journal is not joking.  The OJ staff is laughing but not joking.  These Leftists crack us up.  According to TreeHugger.com: "US Coal-to-Liquid Fuel Facility Plan Dropped by Air Force."  The U.S. Air Force ended it's energy independence pitch to build a new coal-to-liquids plant in North America.  The plant design was based on proven technology and would have created a massive number of private sector jobs in North America which could not have been out-sourced.  Additionally, the plant would have reduced the need for imported oil from Saudi Arabia.
