Sadrists fighting all over Iraq. Why? 1) Because the Sadrists are the last and only "non-AQI" group calling for the immediate withdrawal of US Forces. 2) Sunni Arabs are going to vote in massive numbers in October 2008.

While in all of 2007 the Iraq war occupied an average 15.5 percent of the "newshole" in the media, in the last quarter it fell to nine percent, and then to just 3.9 percent in the first quarter of 2008 - translation, good news is no news

Lincoln and Roosevelt knew their job was to get the military the bucks, bombs and boots. You defend "with the army you have" but you don't go on the offense until you have an army reasonably capable of breaking the enemy's OODA loop.
