George Bush's "wildly optimistic" public statements about Iraq coupled with his pride in having abysmal communications skills have done immeasurable damage to the Republic. Every day George Walker Bush stumbled under Iraq as a political message, the progressivist, liberal Left waged very successful political war against personal freedom and Constitutional Government in the United States. Ironically, with some luck and the Purple-Finger Strategy starting the spread of democracy in the Middle East, the United States may ultimately reap great strategic advantages because of President Bush's policies in Iraq.
