Snopes does not list this as "false",  but you still might want to check with the IRS.  Income taxes are normally due on April 15th unless that date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, in which case taxes are due on Monday the 16th or 17th.  With an extension, filing can be later.  However, if you are a progressivist liberal in political control of the Federal Government in Washington DC or a democrat party hack, there's good news because the tax laws have changed for you; and you alone.  For the next ten years, tax payments will not be due until you are nominated to a cabinet position.  If you are a Barack Hussein Obama voter, please check with your tax advisor because you may already be eligible for special dirt-bag status in which case you will receive massive, federal, charity cash payments directly from red-state voters.  On April 15th, Republican voters, especially Rino voters, will take care of, paying in full, your family's mortgage and other bills.  For dirt-bag, democrat voters, April 15th will now be check-day.  Additionally, for the next three years, April 15th will also be known as democrat tax-cheat day in honor of Turbo Tax Timmy Geithner.
