According to Samantha L. Quigley writing for the American Forces Press Service:

“We have not seen increased violence across the country.  These high-profile attacks … have brought the ire of Iraqi civilians against these terrorist groups.  I believe it’ll make it much more difficult for them to continue to operate inside of Iraq over the long term,”

Army Gen. Ray Odierno said from Baghdad during his appearance on Fox News Sunday.
