Mexico declared its independence on September 16, 1810 from Spain. Mexico was recognized as a country for the first time on September 27, 1821. The United States of America declared its independence July 4,1776. Basically, the USA existed for just under half a century before Mexico and the “Mexicans” existed, free from Spain. The 'smartest' president ever is really that stupid.
