You've got to love the internet.  The media has no opportunity to pick selected quotes and hide other quotes from the public; no opportunity to remove context and insert the progressive context. The media can't stand the internet and, because of the internet, the media can longer provide full cover for elected progressives like Clyburn.  

“I have some experiences that maybe she [Palin] does not have,” James Clyburn, Democrat, said. “When I see and hear things today that are reminiscent of that period of time, I am very, very concerned about it, because I know what it led to back then, and I know what it can lead to again.”
