"The long-term solution is to promote a better ideology, which is freedom. Freedom is universal," George Bush said about the killing of Osama bin Laden.
Who was the idiot who thought it was a wise long term strategy to blow up tens of thousands of Muslim women and children with car bombs in Iraq? Answer: bin Laden. Yet the far-Left remains clueless. The 'Purple Finger Strategy' takes thinking, reasoning and understanding. After ten years of war, the far-Left is still focused on secondary issues. For example, per the far-Left: “The fact that bin Laden had a large mansion specially built in the affluent city of Abbottabad in Pakistan, the home of the Pakistan Military Academy, and that he stayed there for years without being disturbed, is the most significant part of this drama, to me.” The al qaeda narrative is becoming increasingly bankrupt. If it weren't for double standards during the war against al qaeda, liberals would not have had any standards at all. Where is Code Pink screaming that bin Laden should have been tried in a civilian court in New York City with all the protections given American citizens? Where are all the far-Left radio personalities bleating Obama is a war criminal for having bin Laden assassinated? Where are all the liberals yammering "Obama is killing innocent Muslims in the dead of night." The Navy Seals are loathed and hated by the far-Left. However, per the towering giants on the far-Left: "Now that we have killed bin Laden in Pakistan, can we ask the incredibly wrong neo-cons what Iraq had to do with 9/11 again? War is the wrong strategy when fighting terrorism." Basically, progressivism is bankrupt, having devolved into empty rhetoric. Imagine a 'tactical strike' against bin Laden if bin Laden had not ordered thousands of car bombings starting in 2004 killing thousands of Iraqi women and children? What if bin Laden had not killed Muslims on purpose for a decade? What would the Muslim street look like in 2011? Silent? Or would millions of people be seizing twenty US embassies all over the Muslim world making Obama look like Jimmy Carter Part Two on steroids? If the USA had played only defense for the last ten years would the Muslim street be silent today? NO!!! Because of Bush, in 2011, the Muslim street is silent. Yet, per the far-Left, staying on the defensive, using only tactical strikes after 9-11 was the only correct strategy. The far-Left gives Bush no credit. The far-Left remains clueless not understanding the big, incredibly costly war the USA started to free millions of Iraqis, opened a second front, exposing al qaeda as a killer cult, the biggest destroyer of Muslim children in the world. Never forget, the USA was fighting on two fronts but so was al qaeda. The key winning strategy, 'The Purple Finger Strategy', was put in motion more than half a decade ago with the first free and fair elections in Iraq, sending al qaeda towards the ash heap of history. Bin Laden started building a million dollar house in Abbottabad at the very same moment the Iraqi democrats started building participatory Islam, giving all Muslims a better vision of the future. The 'Purple Finger Strategy' is slowly working in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Libya, and Syria. Bin Laden is dead. You cannot kill an idea but you can change how people think about an idea. Bin Laden made a huge strategic blunder using car bombs to blow up Muslim women and children. Bush changed how Muslims think about bin Laden and clueless liberals remain eternally adolescent, having no brains or ethical standards.
"The blood of the holy warrior sheik, Osama bin Laden, God bless him, is too precious to us and to all Muslims to go in vain. We will remain, God willing, a curse chasing the Americans and their agents, following them outside and inside their countries. Soon, God willing, the Americans happiness will turn to sadness and their blood will be mingled with their tears." - al qaeda confirming bin Laden is dead.
Bottom-line: The 'Purple Finger Strategy' killed bin Laden's vision. The Navy Seals killed bin Laden. Liberals remain clueless, focused on secondary issues.

According to ABC News:
The revelation that intelligence gleaned from the CIA's so-called black sites helped kill bin Laden was seen as vindication for many intelligence officials who have been repeatedly investigated and criticized for their involvement in a program that involved the harshest interrogation methods in U.S. history. "We got beat up for it, but those efforts led to this great day," said Marty Martin, a retired CIA officer who for years led the hunt for bin Laden.
