Perfect, far-left, political jujitsu: "Does Republican freshman Andy Harris understand he's changing the debate to abortion?" Junior republicans are fools falling for the oldest Saul Alinsky, democrat, political trick in the book. It's comical.

----

“Thank God for republican freshman Andy Harris.  Thank God we are now arguing about abortion.  Thank God we are no longer arguing about government spending or private sector job creation or huge federal deficits.  Abortion is so much more important than the 14,000 billion dollar government spending problem," several top democrats said.  "Let's exploit the abortion argument to cause a default and government shut-down.  Thank God Andy Harris is changing the main argument to abortion and pell grants at the eleventh hour," top democrats chuckled.  “I really don’t understand why we’re increasing spending in a bill supposed to be cutting spending.  This bill was negotiated without the input of a lot of members,” said Andy Harris, a freshman republican from Maryland.  Andy Harris said he will vote no because of abortion funding and pell grants.  Two hours after Andy Harris fell for the oldest democrat political trick in the democrat play book, Harry Reid plays the... wait for it... abortion card as a government default and shutdown looms over abortion funding and pell grants.  Are you kidding me?  Can republican freshmen be pulled so far off message this easily?  Are the republican freshmen knowingly giving political gifts to democrats?  Why are elected republican freshmen making these bush-league, unforced, political errors at this moment?

Friends, stay on this message: "Cut one penny out of every federal dollar spent for the next eight years, making democrats defend waste everywhere."  Rather than cutting equally, Andy Harris wants to argue about specific abortion funding or pell grant dollars?  Wrong strategy.  Politically dumb.  Please focus on winning the war; not small, diversionary battles.  Friends, focus your public comments on the war: "Cut one penny out of every federal dollar spent."  As freshmen, do not get pulled into muddy battles over specific cultural traps.  Make democrats defend waste everywhere.  Private sector job creation and the party-to-party political war against centralizing, big-government, totalitarian, progressivism are the real political issues.  Publicly, do not plunge down into the weeds discussing abortion funding levels or pell grant spending.  This next quote is text book, far-left, political jujitsu: "It's not realistic to shut down the government on a debate dealing with abortion.  It's not fair to the American people," Harry Reid, democrat, Nevada said.  In public, friends, please stay on this message: "Cut one penny out of every federal dollar spent because it's your money the democrats in Washington are wasting."

According to CNSNews: Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) said today that the new Republicans elected to the House of Representatives last November came to Congress "to kill women." She also likened Republican efforts to prohibit federal funding of abortion except in cases of rape, incest or where the life of the mother is endangered to actions taken by Nazis.  Perfect far-Left political jujitsu and a thing of political beauty.  For the far-Left everything is political.  Everything is ideological.  Planned Parenthood is a government-run charity.  In the case of Planned Parenthood, the far-Left demands politics and ideology come first.  Now the argument is about abortion and not deficit spending.  Lovely.  The political war over money for Planned Parenthood is central to totalitarian progressive ideology.  Republicans like Andy Harris have become expert at sitting in bible church, yammering about God and the bible while the country fiscally collapses in the middle of a party to party political war over spending.   Whether conservatives realize it or not, conservatives have to consider the far-Left political narrative of every aspect of our lives.  Everything is under constant progressive assault by far-left totalitarians who view how you live your life as an ideological, party to party political war.  Progressives are religious and political fanatics.  Totalitarian progressives have declared jihad on every aspect of being a free individual in order to impose their vision of political correctness.

You cannot defeat the liberal narrative if you don’t understand the liberal narrative and democrat political jujitsu.  Because of Harry's political jujitsu this argument is no longer about government default or spending.  Now the argument is all about abortion.  Harry Reid delivers the perfect political jujitsu as 51% of the American people become mentally bewildered thinking everyone is arguing about abortion.  Harry's move is the perfect far-Left political jujitsu and a thing of political beauty.  Yet elected republican freshman are timid and weak because republicans do not understand the liberal narrative.  When you cut spending across the board, the far-Left collapses.  Progressives are religious and political fanatics issue by issue but weak overall.  Cut everything, continuously, year after year and progressivism will collapse.  There are no obviously big savings in the budget.  The entire budget must be pared piece by piece, line by line at the one penny per federal dollar reduction rate.

Shutting down the government over abortion will create a GOP collapse.  For example, Jim Jordan: "Keeping Funding From Abortions Is Why We Were Elected."  Study the liberal narrative:  "The shutdown was never just about budget cuts: the Republican base bears a grudge about who 'deserves' government spending."  Elected Republicans have to consider that the far-Left does not want to argue about cutting spending across the board but the far-Left sure does love arguing with Christians about abortion.  Wake up people!  The far-Left loves to argue about abortion.  If we don't cut everything, then this argument is no longer about spending.  Now the argument is all about 'our cuts' and abortion.  Do not fall into the trap of shutting the government down over 'our cuts' or Planned Parenthood or Pell Grants.  Bill Clinton was the master.  “If Republicans send me a budget that says simply, ‘You take our cuts or we’ll let the country go into default,’ I will veto it.  America has never liked pressure tactics, and I would be wrong to permit these kind of pressure tactics to dramatically change the course of American life.  I cannot do it, and I will not do it,” Bill Clinton said.  In the future, Republicans must not fall into the 'our cuts' trap used by Bill Clinton against the Republican freshmen.  Government spending keeps going up.  In truth, Bill Clinton using the 'our cuts' trap caused this spending mess.  This deficit  issue has not gone away and the over-spending crisis is getting worse, soon to explode.
