Time to face facts. Obama is worse than Bush. Christopher Hitchens said: "It would be found to have been highly immoral to subject the people of Iraq to punitive sanctions for the sins of Saddam if the long-term aim was not to provide the people of Iraq with a better government." Generating great fury within the American progressive movement, the Iraqi democrats point out that one death, Saddam's death, made the Iraq war worth it. Having chosen the wrong side, the loosing side in the Iraq war, most within the American progressive movement still believe that the Iraqi democrats are inherently incapable and not worthy of American support. This current crop of American progressives are a bunch of bigots out to condemn the Iraqi democrats, pushing the Iraqi democrats into the killing fields just like the American Left condemned the Vietnamese democrats to the killing fields.
