King's message of non-violence, finally and fully, ended state sponsored slavery, based on racism, in the United States of America.  King's otherworldly dignity was divinely inspired.  Everyone should reflect on King's determination to end all forms of slavery.  Average Americans owe everything to Martin Luther King because this country could not wait one more day, not another second, to end state sanctioned slavery and oppression based on the color of one's skin.  Thank you Reverend King.  According to the Wall Street Journal: "The new King memorial, which opened in August in the nation's capital, celebrates the ideals King espoused.
