Former President John Tyler has two living grandchildren.  Not great-grandchildren.  Living grandchildren.  Tyler was their grandfather.  From generation to generation, human nature is ageless.  Human nature transcends generations.  Human nature rebels under totalitarian oppression.  Human nature is constant.  Yet Leftists, after a hundred and fifty years of continuous failure, refuse to stop using oppression and coercion.  Liberals become enraged when Conservatives argue that human nature does not change.  President Tyler fathered children late in life.  When Leftists talk about the Constitution of the United States of America as a dead document or 'rather old' and not applicable, remind these fools that John Tyler was born in 1790.  Yes, 1790.  Not 1890.  Not 1990.  Tyler was born in 1790.  The genius in the U.S. Constitution is the embrace of human nature as an ageless part of the real world.  Tyler became the 10th president of the United States in 1841, leading the annexation of Texas in 1845.  Here is another fact: Liberals hate human nature, constantly working to create a utopian fantasy here on earth, telling people how to live their lives down to the smallest detail.  President Tyler fathered Lyon Gardiner Tyler in 1853, at age 63.  Several on the Observer Journal staff are certain, even in 1853, there were totalitarian Progressives stalking John, making sure John never had access to french fries, protecting Lyon from his evil Dad and Mom.  Then, at the age of 71, Lyon Gardiner Tyler fathered Lyon Gardiner Tyler Jr. in 1924 and four years later at age 75, Harrison Ruffin Tyler.  Both Tyler men are still alive today.  Progressivism ignores human nature which is eternal from generation to generation.  Love is love.  Envy is envy.  Lust is lust.  Happiness is still happiness.  Progressives use Liberalism to impose their vision of how they want you to live life, replacing your vision of how you want to live.  Today, progressives control both Lyon and John's light bulb purchases because, obviously, both living Tyler men are too stupid.  Once trapped in post-American Progressivism, Americans are no longer free to pursue their own happiness.  Because progressivism ignores human nature, progressivism is economically toxic and, even worse, destroys life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  When moderate voters are reminded that human nature is ageless; and time is short, moderate voters quickly internalize that, in the context of human nature, the Framers of the Constitution were born just last Monday and the U.S. Constitution was written last Wednesday.  When moderate American voters realize their time is short; and in the context of human nature, the Constitution was written only yesterday, moderate voters see the truth that Obama's utopian, socialist, progressivism is a toxic, wasteful, government-run, failed, fantasy.  

Progressivism is economically toxic because all progressives love to intervene.  What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving.  No one likes these totalitarian progressives who intervene. Progressives intervene in everything!!! Progressives just love spending tax money taken from you, and calling it "humanitarian" (Bombing Libya) or "compassion" (Creating Obamacare).  How many new jobs have been created in this progressive era?  Years ago there were 130 million jobs in North America and there are about 130 million today.  Government intervention is at the root of this disaster.  Obama is a progressive who loves to intervene - ie. Obamacare & Libya.  Bush was a progressive who loved to intervene - ie. Medicare Drugs & Iraq.   You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity any more than government can intervene everywhere every time in North America, much less the world.  Government intervention creates economic stagnation.  The government cannot give anybody anything that government does not first take from somebody else.  Massive governmental interventions (Bush & Obama) have slowed economic growth.  Progressivism always leads to stagnation and more debt.  Total debt to GDP has exploded to over 350% with federal debt going from 57% of GDP to nearly 100% today.  Why focus on government interventions which create problems?  Why not constrain progressivism and expand economic growth?  Foreign and domestic progressivism creates stagnation because massive government interventions do not work.  You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.  Obama's economy is "Dead Flat" according to Bill Clinton.  Average Americans are learning the huge economic differences between corporate democrats (Bill Clinton) and progressive democrats (Barack Obama).  Progressivism is economically toxic.  “I personally don’t believe we ought to be raising taxes or cutting spending, either one, until we get this economy off the ground,” Bill Clinton told Newsmax in an interview. “This has been a dead flat economy.”
